At the invitation of the University of Gabes, Mashrou3i has participated on October 31, in the “Skills, Careers and Entrepreneurship Day” organized by the Career Centre and Certification Skills (named as 4C), newly created.
Nearly 150 participants, among them 120 students, attended to this event which allowed our team to present Mashrou3i project through its various components, to inform young students through its promotional stand, and especially to present the HP LIFE Educator program that aims at training and certification for teachers on the HP LIFE e-Learning platform as well as its implementation on Tunisian Universities.

Mohamed Mars, President of the University of Gabes, opened the event by highlighting the importance of 4C group, as a solid link between students, universities and companies to improve employability. This new structure has a mission to promote entrepreneurship through the development of soft skills among students and the support for start-ups.
According to Mr Ezzeddine Bouajaja, Chief Administrative Officer of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce in South East region, “the development of skills remains an undeniable vector of employment for graduates of higher education and this development necessarily involves the certification of skills. Interpersonal skills, communication, capacity of producing results and entrepreneurial value are the first skills sought by employers, technical skills usually coming last. ”
This point of view was reinforced by Mrs. Mounira Bouzouita, President of ARFORGHE (an association working to strengthen the employability of new graduates), who emphasized the significance of interpersonal skills and expertise in the context of skills development. “Today the student must know how to innovate, prepare himself for a job that does not necessarily correspond to his degree or his aspirations, he must know how to speak, sell his know-how.”
“Today for the 14,000 future graduates who find themselves on the employment market, fostering entrepreneurship represents the second approach of the strategy for the future action plan” according to Mrs. Mejda Bourguiba, 4C manager at the University of Gabes.

During his speech Mr Fayçal Dchicha, regional expert at Mashrou3i, presented to students and teachers the aim of the program as well as its various components whose primary objective is to promote the employability of young people through trainings, technical support for start-ups and companies and capacity building of accompaniment as universities.

This event allowed above all to present the program designed especially for universities: “HP LIFE Educator”. Mr. Anis Hamrouni, Director of Studies at Kairouan and HP LIFE educator trainer for universities, has set an example of the successful practices of the HP LIFE e-Learning program within ISET Kairouan as part of its implementation at all level of education. The HP LIFE e-Learning platform with its 27 courses allows students to prepare themselves for entrepreneurship and develop their soft skills thanks to the training of certified university educators.

At the end of the event, three young beneficiaries of Mashrou3i closed the day presenting their testimonials to students and their backgrounds to identify, prepare and launch their own business opportunities: Walid Esshaigher with a industrial shielding unit, Mohamed Ibrahim and his company specialized in hydrological and geophysical prospecting, and finally Nejla Riahi with a high tech laboratory of dental prostheses.
